OK, I'm a little obsessed with this event right now...

Girls Night Out: Dallas is a two day (Oct 29-30) shopathon event featuring beauty professionals, shopping, cocktails, products trials and a sweet goody bag. For a mere $12.50 per day, you score a gift bag and an all-access pass to this massive event. It's $35 at the door so act now. Oh, and because of the alcohol, you must be at least 21 yrs. old to attend.

Did you hear the news? Liz Claiborne will now be exclusively sold at J.C. Penney department stores, the luxe Liz Claiborne New York line designed by Isaac Mizrahi will be available at QVC. On the Liz Claiborne site now, all sale items are 20% off, maybe the first step in the move to JCP. I think that it's fantastic --the line will join the ranks of other big names like Sephora, Nicole Miller, and Charlotte Ronson. This transition is expected to save the company hundreds of millions, following a trend Tommy Hilfiger and Dana Buchman followed by selling their line at particular department stores. For now, those of us in the middle, can benefit from the sweet online deals. Here are a few on my wishlist:

Happy 15th, Old Navy!
