With Anna Sui, Hollywood Intuition, and Anna Sheffield available online, it's easy to find many stylish, affordable pieces.  Every time I stop by my local Target, those three brands are practically cleaned out --so it's a great opportunity to nab your favs before they're all sold out online too.  Offer ends October 24, 2009.  Happy Shopping!

Copy Beyonce’s Fierce Style

It's getting chillier here in Texas, but it's still warm enough that people are wearing their shorts and mini-skirts. I've got a photo of the fabulous Beyonce in a Texas-approved party look. Of course, I lack the courage to wear a skirt this short, especially since I'm fearful my Asian nay-nays (interpret this as you will) might peek out from the bottom. What's so great about this outfit is that the neon and metallic trends from the summer can be carried to fit a fall night out. With a ruffle LBD this stunning, sweaters are optional!

All you need are: a tiered ruffle litte black dress, neon pumps, a metallic satchel, large gold pendant necklace and hoop earrings:

Spend/Thrift: Purple Color Block Dress

Let me begin by saying that I love Michael Kors. I watch him on Project Runway and I buy from his Michael by Michael Kors line (especially those cute bags).   Unfortunately, I am unable to buy from his most posh line.  One dress that has caught my eye is a purple color block sheath dress which I see as a piece with multiple uses this fall and winter.  This gorgeous frock is sold for the epic price of $1,995. For my high-roller shoppers, click the pic to buy:

A similar looking dress can be found at Wet Seal for $21.50. Granted the belt is a bit thicker, but you can rock this body-conscious bandage dress with the confidence of a Michael Kors model. Click to pic to buy yours today:

I think they look pretty close...what do you think?

Spend/Thrift: Fall Florals

Men and women across the country are dusting off their cardigans. I try to buy at least one each fall (more like 10, actually) and this season, I'm thinking a fall floral print will make a nice addition. This cashmere, deep purple-grey print is ideal, but the price is not at $545. Click and buy if it fits your price range:

But I'm looking more toward Forever 21's very similar sweater ($22.80). It's not cashmere but, but a $500+ residual, I'm willing to make the sacrifice:

Spotlight on Blu Bijoux

I have a weakness for all types of accessories: bags, hair pins, shoes, belts, jewelry.  I tend to buy a lot of them every season which generally makes my more basic wardrobe staples go further.  One brand I recently became acquainted with is Blu Bijoux which is available for purchase at Max and Chloe.  The brand is comprised of statement pieces at affordable price points, generally under $75.  I've been eyeing a few of their rings seeing as the holidays are approaching and cocktail rings are my signature accessories.  You can browse and buy from my favorites here:

Happy 15th, Old Navy!

Fifteen years of affordable style was celebrated by Old Navy today.  I went and scored a cute jersey dress in TWO colors (black/grey & white/grey) plus stickers and a coupon for a free Baskins Robbins ice cream cone.  The jersey dress is oh-so-slimming on the hips and has an awesome price tag of $15!

Spend/Thrift: Grey Fringe Bag

I'm currently watching Fringe on Fox which inspired this post about fringe in fashion.  A fringe purse in a neutral color is perfect for this fall, adding fluidity to an outfit that can be anchored by skinny pants or leggings.  If you're looking for an investment bag, Graham & Spencer has a suede fringe bag ($544) for you.  Check it out by clicking on this pic:

But if you're looking to save some cash and still get the trend, Mark has a great faux-suede version for only $32.  Buy it from your favorite Avon sales rep by clicking the pic or by ordering it from me:
